Bernhard Heisig: Zu Majakowski

  • Heisig was a prominent German painter known for his powerful and politically charged works that captured the tumultuous events and social realities of 20th-century Germany.  Heisig's early works often depicted scenes of everyday life in East Germany, exploring themes such as labor, industry, and the human condition. However, it was his later works, particularly those created during the 1960s and 1970s, that brought him international acclaim.
