It is still debated if Blanchard engraved this print himself or it was done by anonymous hand (See Thuillier, 1998, p.220). Robert-Dumesnil records two versions of this print, the other one with clouds in the background which ‘mal venue a l’opération de l’eau-forte’ (unwelcome to the etching).
